Young People’s Perceptions of the Public Service Sector

The Public Service (PS) Compact commissioned the production of a report, including a short film, identifying trends in young people’s perceptions of the PS, and also to challenge some preconceptions about the attitudes of young people in this age group. This research demonstrates the need to promote the benefits and opportunities within the sector, the types of careers available and the make up of the sector, as well as challenge some of the existing perceptions of what the sector can offer as an employer. June 2005 for the DVD. Further work planned.
