| Workforce Profiling Questionnaire: | To establish baseline statistics for the Public Service sector, and set benchmarks for increasing workforce diversity to better reflect local communities as part of the public service compact. The questionnaire measures four key areas: the size of the sector according to six parameters, namely gender, ethnic origin, disability, age, salary level, full/part-time status a subset of roles in the sector which might be described as generic the turnover and growth estimates of generic roles. Identifies hard-to-fill generic roles. Completed May 06. |
| Competency Frameworks for Generic Families of Jobs | An exercise to capture the skills needs for generic families of jobs within the Public Services to produce a picture of the job requirements and expectations of employers who are looking to recruit to these generic posts, and outline the types of skills needed to perform within the role. This information will be distributed amongst and targeted at: individuals seeking employment within the Public Services; intermediaries advising on careers within the secto. Ongoing: one framework completed, two near completion. |
