Spearhead

The Spearhead initiative looks to tackle the issue of health inequalities in the most deprived local authorities.

The Spearhead Group is made up of 70 local authorities and 88 Primary Care Trusts that are in the bottom fifth nationally in terms of three or more health indicators, such as male life expectancy at birth.
