Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF)
The Neighbourhood Renewal Fund will cease to exist from 31 March 2008 and will be replaced from June 2008 by the Working Neighbourhoods Fund (WNF).
The NRF was focused upon providing joined-up projects in neighbourhoods in the 86 most deprived local authorities in England (based upon the Indices of Deprivation). The WNF has a narrower remit and is focused upon tackling issues of worklessness and low skills in the most deprived neighbourhoods.
