Coordinated by the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit, this programme encourages stakeholders in local areas to work with service providers to help improve the quality of services delivered in deprived neighbourhoods.
Further information
The Neighbourhood Management Programme has been a key driver of improving relations and partnership between communities and stakeholders and service providers in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods in England.
The programme was a pilot with 20 pilots announced in 2001, with a further 15 developed in 2003. The principles of this pilot process have shaped neighbourhood management activities in neighbourhoods and areas across England.
